Are jumping spiders dangerous?+
Not at all. Bold jumpers are gentle, curious, and far too small to harm humans. Their venom is for prey only and is medically insignificant to people.
How long do they live?+
With proper care, female Bold jumpers live around 1.5–2 years. Males typically live closer to a year.
Do you ship spiders?+
Yes. We ship live spoods with overnight, insured shipping inside the US and offer Phoenix-area pickup.
What do they eat?+
Mostly small flies (Drosophila) when young, scaling up to small crickets, mealworms, and the occasional waxworm.
